The Sacred Ordinary
Many of us have learned to feel most alive when something needs our attention: a crisis, a goal, a relationship, a healing practice, or the pursuit of the next breakthrough. When nothing is happening, quiet can feel empty, restless, or strangely uncomfortable.
The Sacred Ordinary is a three-day video course exploring how urgency, stimulation, and constant self-improvement can begin to organize our lives—and how healing can continue without becoming the whole of them. Through direct teaching, personal reflection, and simple embodied practices, you will learn to distinguish vitality from activation, recognize when self-awareness has become inner surveillance, and meet ordinary moments without immediately turning them into problems or projects.
Each lesson includes focused teaching, a brief experiential practice, optional journaling prompts, a reflective survey, and an invitation to share in the course classroom. This course is for people who are actively healing as well as those beginning to wonder what life can become when healing is no longer the only organizing force.
By the end of the course, you will have a gentler way to notice when urgency, stimulation, or self-improvement is pulling you away from yourself; discern what a difficult experience may actually need; and return to the life already here—without making presence another standard you must perform perfectly.
