"Love Forever" is a sentimental piano piece inspired by the deep and unconditional love of a pet. It was written for my cat, who has been my animal companion and friend for so long. As he gets older and his health suffers, I am reflecting on my love for him and my fear of losing him. This music came from all this. It has a melody that reflects his name (Burger) through the notes B and G. Those notes repeat and end in C, which represents my name (Chris). These notes appear in melodies and harmonies throughout the piece. In the end, the melody repeats and then ends in a single C tone, repeating, which signifies that someday I will be without him. This was an incredibly emotional creation for me to make, and I hope you will feel what I have tried to infuse into the music. Thank you so much for listening.
