Have you spent years trying to heal past trauma, but you still feel stuck? You may have an incredible amount of self-awareness, but perhaps you don’t feel different inside your body. You may often feel anxious, numb, disconnected, heavy, or other uncomfortable sensations. If this sounds like you, please know that it’s not your fault. While traditional therapies can be helpful for many people, it is often not enough to fully process trauma. If you’ve been in talk therapy for decades, but still feel stuck, this is not a reflection of you. Cognitive therapies often can’t access body-stored trauma, leaving many people feeling frustrated and hopeless about healing. The latest trauma research shows that embodied & somatic therapies are the most effective and efficient way to wholly release trauma and create the shift most people want to FEEL: light, open, free, and safe inside their skin. In this course, I will share the research that shows why talk therapy isn’t enough and why somatic therapy is crucial for integrated mind-body healing. I will share this information in a language that is easy to absorb. You’ll also be introduced to a movement-based process that can help you start feeling some of the embodied shifts that are necessary to truly heal trauma.
