Offering Compassion to our Difficult Emotions | Insight Timer Live
Difficult Emotions are difficult because they are hard to sit with. When they arise, we try to deny them, run away from them, or try to repress them. In this guided practice, we will use transcendental meditation to sit with difficult emotions through mindfulness with verbal encounters with these emotions. The participants will initiate a healing journey to deal with difficult emotions including anger, resentment, shame, guilt, regret, and acceptance of what is happening in your life now. They will get a better sense of what's going on inside them right now when these emotions arise. Bring a glass of water, tissues, a journal, and a pen.
